Applying for MN Benefits: Food Assistance (SNAP), Housing Support, Emergency & Cash Assistance

In need of emergency, cash, food or housing assistance?  Go to:  https://mnbenefits.mn.gov/#about-programs for a quick 20 minute or less application to get started.


Refugee and Immigrant Helpline

The Minnesota Department of Human Services’ Refugee and Immigrant Helpline connects new Minnesotans to local information, resources and services in communities across the state. The DHS Resettlement Programs Office service is available to new Minnesotans, community organizations, county and Tribal staff—and anyone who has a question.

Fall Food Distribution Resources


Neighborhood House Summer/Fall Fresh Produce Distribution

From July to October, you are welcome to pick up free fruits and vegetables for you and your household. The distributions are farmer’s market style and are held outdoors. If you join us, please consider bringing your own large, reusable bags or a cart.


Wellstone Center

Every 2nd and 4th Thursday from July to October | noon–2 p.m.

Summit Brewing

Every 1st and 3rd Thursday from July to October | noon–2 p.m.

Keystone’s Free Drive-Through Farmers Market

Join us at one of our events held at three community locations: Roseville Covenant Church, Rice and Arlington Field, and Allianz Field.

Everyone is welcome—no registration needed. Each participant will receive a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. These events do NOT count as a food shelf visit and won’t impact your eligibility for other food shelf services.

  • 3rd Saturdays of every month-

  • First come, first served - 10:00am - 11:30am

SUNDAY DINNER (DINE-IN or TAKEAWAY)

  • 5:00p - 6:30p (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST) join us for a hot meal or pick-up one to go!

CLOTHES CLOSET

  • Open Monday, Wednesday, & Thursdays from 10am-2:00pm (last appt. at 1:30.) APPOINTMENT PREFERRED BUT WALK-INS TAKEN, AS SPACE ALLOWS
